The Northern Territory Police Force has charged a 23-year-old male in relation to the abduction of a child in Alice Springs on 27 February.

On Thursday 6 March, the male was extradited from South Australia to the Northern Territory and charged with Abduction of a child under 16 years.

He appeared in the Alice Springs Local Court on Friday 7 March and was bailed to next appear on 22 April 2025.
