The Northern Territory Police Force is calling for information in relation to an indecent assault that occurred this morning in Alice Springs.

Around 7:20am, an off-duty police officer observed a male allegedly indecently assault a female in the area of Ross Park Oval and subsequently reported the incident to police.

Police located and arrested the alleged offender a short time later and investigations are ongoing.
