Police are calling for information following an aggravated robbery in The Gap on Saturday morning.

Around 3:25am, a 38-year-old female left a licensed premises on Barrett Drive and began walking towards her accommodation on Palm Place. While walking near the intersection of Stuart Highway and Palm Circuit, the woman was approached by two males with face coverings.

The males allegedly assaulted the victim and stole personal items including her phone, wallet and approximately $200 before they fled on foot towards the Stuart Highway.

Strike Force Viper have carriage and investigations are ongoing.
