NT Police are calling for information in relation to an aggravated burglary that occurred in Alice Springs last night.

Around 8:25pm, police responded to reports that a vehicle had been stolen from a residence on Lackman Terrace in Braitling. An unknown male youth offender allegedly unlawfully entered the property armed with an edged weapon and threatened the female occupant, demanding her car keys. The offender subsequently stole the victim’s Toyota Corolla and fled the scene.

The victim was not injured during the incident and a crime scene was established at the residence.

The Corolla was later located abandoned on Sargent Street and has been recovered by police.

The offender remains outstanding at this time.
