Call for information - Aggravated assault - Alice Springs

The Northern Territory Police Force is calling for information in relation to an aggravated assault that occurred in Alice Springs early this morning.

Around 1:50am, police received reports that a 35-year-old man had been assaulted on Barret Drive, Desert Springs.

The occupants of black Ford SUV allegedly drove up to the man, exited the vehicle and stabbed the man multiple times before fleeing the scene in the vehicle.

The victim was conveyed to Alice Springs Hospital in a stable condition.

It is believed the men are known to each other.

Investigations are ongoing and police urge anyone with information, including dash cam or CCTV footage from the area, to contact 131 444. Please quote reference P25029511.
