Arrest – Domestic violence – Alice Springs

The Northern Territory Police Force has arrested a 40-year-old male in relation to a domestic violence incident that occurred in Alice Springs last night.

Around 11:50pm, police received a report that a male had pushed his female partner over at their residence in Ilparpa. The victim’s head had allegedly struck the floor, and she was not moving.

Emergency services responded and treated the victim, who lost consciousness multiple times. She was subsequently conveyed to Alice Springs Hospital by St John Ambulance.

A 40-year-old male was arrested and remains in police custody.
