A 32-year-old Northern Territory police officer has been charged with two counts of Indecent touching or act, three counts of Gross indecency and one count of Sexual intercourse without consent, following an incident on 9 November 2024.

The incident is alleged to have occurred while the officer was off duty at a private residence.

As a result of this incident, the officer has been suspended from duty with pay and is scheduled to appear before the Darwin Local Court on Thursday 5 December 2024.
