Northern Territory Police have responded to a fatal crash that occurred in Girraween early this morning.

Around 7:20am, police received reports that a buggy had been located and the 26-year-old male driver was found deceased.

Early indications show the driver to be intoxicated and not wearing his seatbelt. 

Investigations are on-going.
