Charges – Property offences – Darwin

Northern Territory Police have charged two youths after multiple property offences across Darwin this week.

Around 9pm on Monday 25 March 2024, police received reports that two youths had stolen a blue Toyota Corolla from a shopping centre on Trower Road, Casuarina.

The offenders have allegedly stolen fuel from a service station in Berrimah before abandoning the vehicle in Pinelands.

Both youths have then allegedly unlawfully entered a nearby property and stolen a Grey Ford Everest before again stealing fuel from a Berrimah service station and abandoning the vehicle in Karama.

Detectives from Strike Force Trident began investigations and arrested two 15-year-old males yesterday morning.

Both have been charged with:

  • Drive / Ride / Use Motor Vehicle without Consent
  • Theft
  • Aggravated Burglary – Dwelling
  • Serious Breach Bail

Both were remanded to appear in court today.
