Charges – Aggravated robbery – Alice Springs

Northern Territory Police have charged three youths in relation to an aggravated robbery that occurred in Alice Springs yesterday.

At 7.30am, police received reports of four female youths allegedly stealing items and causing damage at a convenience store on Larapinta Drive. An employee was also allegedly assaulted by the offenders but did not require medical attention.

Police attended and arrested three females aged 13, 14 and 16 years-old at the scene. They have since been charged with Aggravated Robbery and Damage Property.

The fourth female youth fled the scene and remains outstanding.

Strike Force Viper are investigating the matter.
