Northern Territory Police are seeking witnesses to an incident that occurred on Lindsay Avenue in East Side yesterday between 3:00pm and 3:45pm.

A 15-year-old female was approached by an unknown male and allegedly indecently assaulted.

The male is described as of Aboriginal appearance wearing a red shirt with sunglasses on his head.

The Southern Child Abuse Taskforce have carriage of the investigation and are making every effort to identify the male.

Police are appealing to any witnesses with information or dash cam footage of the incident or any person matching the description, to come forward. Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 131 444. Please quote reference NTP2400102472.
