Call for information – Vehicle fire – Palmerston

Northern Territory Police are calling for information after a disturbance and a vehicle fire in Woodroffe overnight.

Around 8:25pm, emergency services received reports of a disturbance involving up to 20 people in the vicinity of Sibbald Crescent, Woodroffe.

Several members of the group have allegedly damaged a nearby parked red Ford Fiesta before allegedly ramming the vehicle with a red Toyota Landcruiser.

The offenders have allegedly set the Ford Fiesta alight, and fled the scene in the Landcruiser.

Police and Firefighters deployed to the area with the Toyota Landcruiser located abandoned a short distance away.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze with no injuries reported.

A crime scene was declared, with a Fire Investigator attending the location, while the seized Landcruiser is currently undergoing forensic analysis.

Detectives from Serious Crime are investigating the incident and are urging those with information to make contact.
