Northern Territory Police are calling for information after an aggravated robbery occurred in Leanyer overnight.

Around 9pm, police received reports of 6 males attending a licenced premises on Leanyer Drive, one armed with an edged weapon. The offenders allegedly threatened staff before stealing a large quantity of alcohol and fleeing the scene.

A 25-year-old male was later arrested and remains in custody awaiting charges.
