Northern Territory Police are calling for information after an aggravated robbery occurred in Alice Springs yesterday afternoon.

Around 4pm, police received a report that 3 males had allegedly stolen a bike from a 14-year-old male in Araluen.

The victim was riding his bike along Larapinta Drive near Memorial Avenue when he was stopped by 3 male offenders, one of whom was allegedly armed with an edged weapon.

The armed offender allegedly threatened the victim and demanded he hand over the bike. The 3 offenders then fled the scene with the bike.

The bike is described as a grey and orange Avanti Men’s Mountain Bike and a photo has been provided. One of the offenders was reportedly wearing a red jumper and black pants.

Strike Force Viper are investigating the incident.
