Northern Territory Fire and Rescue Service (NTFRS) have officially closed the Palmerston Fire Station for operational duties now that the Palmerston Regional Fire Station is operational.

All capabilities have been transferred to the new facility with the Palmerston Fire Station on Emery Avenue, Woodroffe, being considered for use as a training facility in the future.
