A 45-year-old woman has died after being fatally struck by a vehicle in Ludmilla overnight.

Investigators believe the woman was walking across Bagot Road, when she was hit by an oncoming vehicle at around 9pm.

The driver stopped and was uninjured in the collision. He is assisting the Major Crash Investigation Unit with their inquiries.
