Charges – Property offences - Darwin

Northern Territory Police have charged a 17-year-old involved in multiple property offences last weekend and in March.

On Sunday, between 3:30am and 4:45am, a group of 6 males divided amongst three stolen vehicles were involved in multiple property offences, which included:

  • Three unlawful entries of three fuel stations
  • One unlawful entry of a licensed premise, and
  • Two unlawful entries at business premises in Palmerston.

On 24 March 2023, the alleged offender stole a motor vehicle from a residence in Fannie Bay.

Yesterday, Strike Force Trident detectives arrested the 17-year-old and charged him with:

  • Unlawful entry x 6
  • Damage property x 6
  • Attempt to commit an offence x 4
  • Stealing x 3
  • Aggravated unlawful use of motor vehicle x 2
  • Unlawful use of motor vehicle
  • Drive unlicensed

He was remanded to appear in court today.
