Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses to an assault in the Alice Springs CBD last night.

At around 7.30pm, a woman was walking along the underpass at Stott Terrace Bridge when she was allegedly grabbed by a man unknown to her.

The woman was able to flee the location without serious injuries. The unknown man has also fled the scene.
