Call for information – Aggravated unlawful entry – Ludmilla

Northern Territory Police are calling for information after an aggravated unlawful entry in Ludmilla overnight.

At 12am, police received reports that a group of unknown offenders had unlawfully entered a residence on Mosec Street, Ludmilla, armed with blunt weapons. The group allegedly assaulted a 67-year-old man and fled the scene.

The victim was conveyed to Royal Darwin Hospital as a precaution, with non-life-threatening injuries.

Detective Senior Sergeant Karl Day said “Detectives from Serious Crime are investigating and are calling for anyone with information to come forward.

“This was a cowardly attack and we are urging anyone with CCTV in the area to review their footage for any suspicious behaviour. Anyone with information should contact police on 131 444 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
