Arrest – Domestic violence – Tennant Creek

Northern Territory Police have arrested a 31-year-old man after a serious harm incident in Tennant Creek overnight.

At 3:20am, police received reports that the man assaulted his 28-year-old female partner in Wuppa Camp, Tennant Creek. The victim suffered serious injuries including a broken arm.

Police attended and arrested the man a short time later where he remains in custody and is expected to be charged later this evening. The victim was conveyed to Tennant Creek Hospital and will be evacuated to Alice Springs for further treatment.
