Northern Territory Police have arrested a male in relation to an unlawful entry and burglary in Leanyer over the weekend.

At 3:45am 25 November 2023, police received a report of two males allegedly forcing their way into a licenced premise on Leanyer Drive.

The pair stole a large quantity of alcohol, before unlawfully entering a second licenced premise also along Leanyer Drive, where they continued to steal more alcohol.

CCTV operators tracked their movements until police arrived where they quickly located and arrested one male.

Investigations are continuing to identify and locate the second male.
