Arrest - Aggravated assault - Casuarina

Northern Territory Police Crime Division Detectives are investigating an aggravated assault that occurred at a Casuarina Shopping Centre last night.

A 22-year-old woman remains in custody after being arrested for allegedly stabbing two people following an argument in the underground carpark area.

Paramedics treated a 41-year-old man at the scene for injuries to his leg, and the 29-year-old woman was taken to Royal Darwin Hospital suffering non-life threatening injuries to her back.

Additionally, Police have arrested a man after he allegedly slashed the tyres of a police vehicle. The man was consuming alcohol in a public place when Police approached him, and the alcohol was subsequently destroyed. Members continued their patrols when the man came to the police vehicle and slashed both rear tyres rendering the vehicle unusable.
