Northern Territory Police are investigating after two people died in a single vehicle crash in Tennant Creek earlier today.
At around 6am, police received a report of a single vehicle rollover 75km north of Tennant Creek on the Stuart Highway. Two adults were found deceased at the scene.
A third adult was conveyed to Tennant Creek Hospital.
Police detectives from Tennant Creek and Major Crash are currently on scene determining the circumstances of the crash.
The Stuart Highway is open, however road restrictions will remain in place and motorists should expect delays for the remainder of the day. Drivers are urged to slow down and use caution when approaching the area.
