Escape custody - Tennant Creek

Police

Northern Territory Police are asking the public to be on the lookout for three men who escaped the Barkly Work Camp in Tennant Creek overnight.

Around 11:30pm, Ezra Austral (23 years), Richard Henwood (37) and Maximus Cutta (20) left the facility after having removed their electronic monitoring devices.

Police have been searching for the men through the night. It is suspected that they may have stolen a silver 1996 Nissan Navara two-door trayback ute, registration CD95HC, in Tennant Creek and they may be headed towards Darwin.

The men were all wearing prison-issued clothing at the time of their escape. All were in blue shorts, one was wearing a green shirt and two were wearing yellow shirts.

Anyone who sights these men is advised not to approach but to call police immediately on 131 444.
