Northern Territory Police responded to a single vehicle rollover near the community of Ti Tree earlier today.

At around 10:15am, a van carrying two people was travelling along the Stuart Highway 20km north of the community. The vehicle has allegedly hit a culvert and flipped onto its roof.

Emergency Services responded and the driver and passenger were treated for shock and minor injuries.

Remote Sergeant Catherine Martin said, “Ti Tree Police would like to thank all the members of the public that stopped and offered assistance.

“Initial investigations indicate fatigue may have been involved in this crash. Fatigue is one of the fatal five, if you are tired please pull over and rest. These passengers were incredibly lucky.”
