Call for witnesses – Assault on worker – Malak

Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses to an assault on a worker in Malak earlier this month.

Two boys, aged 10 and 12, were arrested shortly after the incident on 13 June, however Strike Force Trident continue to investigate.

Around 1:20pm on 13 June, two youths attended a service station on Chambers Crescent. A staff member recognised them by sight.

Constable First Class Ben Paterson said, “The youths allegedly assaulted two staff members. They then boarded a bus heading towards Karama, where they were arrested a short time later.

“Witnesses who are yet to be identified were observed in the nearby area on CCTV and may be able to assist with our investigations.”
