Call for information – Serious harm – Alice Springs

Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses after a 14-year-old female was injured in an altercation in Alice Springs overnight.

Around 9:30pm, police received reports of a large disturbance in the vicinity of Todd Street and Stott Terrace.

Police and St John Ambulance attended and located the female who is believed to have been assaulted with an edged weapon.

She was conveyed to Alice Springs Hospital in a serious condition.

Senior Sergeant Adam Donaldson said, “Investigations into this incident are ongoing and at this stage there have been no arrests.

“The victim currently remains in Alice Springs Hospital recovering.

“We are urging anyone who witnessed or knows anything about the altercation, particularly if you have video footage, to make contact on 131 444. Please quote reference 10127358.”
