Northern Territory Police have charged a man in relation to an assault that occurred in Darwin City last Sunday.

A 33-year-old man allegedly assaulted a 31-year-old man, in the early hours of Sunday morning, outside a Mitchell Street bar.

The victim was left with serious injuries and was conveyed to Royal Darwin Hospital.

The 33-year-old was later charged with:

• 1 x Unlawfully cause serious harm

He has been bailed to appear before Darwin Local Court 20 April 2021.
