Northern Territory Police are continuing to call for witnesses in relation to a structure fire in the Hidden Valley Town Camp on Friday night.

The female victim succumbed to her injuries, passing away in hospital earlier today.

The alleged offender is continuing to receive treatment for significant burns suffered as a result of the fire.

Detective Senior Sergeant Michael Schumacher said, “This woman’s death was a needless tragedy. Detectives are now treating this domestic violence case as a homicide.”
