Concern for welfare - Alice Springs

Northern Territory Police are seeking public assistance to locate a man believed to be missing in the Alice Springs area since yesterday.

Tony Jabanardi Ellis, 73 was last seen at a home in Irretye Court, Hidden Valley Town Camp around 4pm on Tuesday 9 November.

Family believed Mr Ellis had gone for a walk, which was not unusual, but reported him as missing to police when he failed to return.

Police have conducted door knocks and land searches of the immediate and surrounding areas, however hold concerns for Mr Ellis as he suffers from a medical condition.

Tony Jabanardi Ellis is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, 170cms tall, with a slim build with grey hair, grey beard. He was last seen wearing a black long sleeved shirt with white stripes down the side, black trousers, a light blue jumper and black shoes.

Police urge anyone who may have information as to Tony Jabanardi Ellis’ whereabouts, to contact police immediately on 131 444.
