Charges – Property offences – Greater Darwin

Northern Territory Police have charged five youths in relation to property offences around Darwin and Casuarina on Tuesday.

Police allege the group was involved in property offences at a shopping centre in Casuarina and businesses on Bagot Road.

From there it is alleged they were involved in several incidents in the Darwin Central Business District.

Police arrested all five youths as they were boarding a bus on Mitchell Street.

Strike Force Trident detectives later charged a 14-year-old with:

  • 1 x Aggravated robbery

He was bailed to appear in court on 23 November 2021.

A 13-year-old was charged with:

  • 1 x Receive stolen property
  • 1 x Serious breach of bail

He was bailed to appear in court on 7 December 2021.

An 11-year-old was charged with:

  • 1 x Aggravated robbery
  • 1 x Damage to property
  • 1 x Stealing
  • 1 x Assault a worker

He was bailed to appear in court on 11 November 2021.

An 11-year-old was charged with:

  • 2 x Aggravated robbery
  • 2 x Stealing
  • 1 x Damage to property
  • 1 x Attempt to commit an offence (Stealing)
  • 1 x Serious breach of bail

He was remanded to appear in court today.

A 10-year-old was charged with:

  • 2 x Aggravated robbery
  • 2 x Disorderly
  • 1 x Assault a worker

He was bailed to appear in court on 16 November 2021.
