Charges - Drug offences - Adelaide River

Northern Territory Police have charged three men for drug offences after a roadside random breath test (RBT) in Adelaide River yesterday.

The three men, aged 26, 28 and 65, are all allegedly interstate members of an outlaw motorcycle gang. Seven interstate members were intercepted along with three of their support vehicles travelling to Darwin. The RBT was conducted with the support of the Australian Federal Police National Anti-Gangs Squad and the Australian Border Force.

The Drug and Organised Crime Squad later charged the 65-year-old with:

  • 1 x Drive with prohibited drug in blood

He was bailed to face Darwin Local Court today.

The 26-year-old was charged with:

  • 1 x Possess a schedule 2 drug

He was bailed to face Darwin Local Court today.

The 28-year-old was charged with:

  • 1 x Drive with prohibited drug in blood
  • 1 x Possess a schedule 1 drug
  • 1 x Fail to produce licence

He was bailed to face Darwin Local Court today.
