Northern Territory Police have charged a 24-year-old man following a domestic violence incident.
Police allege the man assaulted a 23-year-old woman and a 5-year-old child in an Alice Springs community last month, suffering injuries. Both the woman, and child received medical treatment at Alice Springs Hospital.
The man was charged with:
- aggravated assault
- assault a person under 16 years
- armed with offensive weapon at night
He was remanded in custody to appear in the Alice Springs Local Court on Thursday 14 January 2021.
