Charges – Child abuse material – Malak

Police arrested a 31-year-old man yesterday afternoon for possession of child abuse material.

Members from the Northern Territory Police and the Australian Federal Police Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team (JACET) executed a warrant at the man’s residence in Malak.

The man has been charged with:

  • Possess or control child abuse material (Cwth)

He was remanded to appear in Darwin Local Court on Thursday 11 November 2021.

Detective Sergeant Vanessa Barton said, “This offending is not tolerated and police will continue to work across the jurisdictions to keep children safe, apprehend offenders and hold them to account”.
