A 20-year-old man who is alleged to have seriously assaulted three people outside a licensed premises in Alice Springs last month, has been arrested and charged.

It is alleged in the early hours of 19 September the man seriously assaulted two men and a woman on Todd Street. One man suffered serious head injuries as a result of the incident.

Detectives from the Alice Springs Criminal Investigation Branch this morning located and arrested the man, who was transported to the Alice Springs Watch House and charged with three counts of aggravated assault and one count of engaging in violent conduct.

The man has been remanded in custody and will appear in the Alice Springs Local Court on Monday 18 October.
