Police are calling for witnesses after a man was allegedly assaulted in an unlawful entry in Gillen last night.

At around 8pm, a 60-year-old male has been allegedly assaulted by two males who had unlawfully entered his residence. 

The two offenders have then allegedly fled out a side gate and into a black vehicle before leaving the scene.

Commander Craig Laidler said, “This assault is completely unacceptable, as police continue to investigate this incident we urge the public to continue to remain vigilant and report all suspicious behaviour”.
