Call for witnesses – Stolen vehicle – Greater Darwin

Northern Territory police are calling for witnesses in relation to a stolen vehicle that was allegedly used in attempted unlawful entries in Winnellie, Rosebery, Wishart, Parap and Humpty Doo last night.

At around midnight, police commenced a pursuit of a stolen Holden Commodore along Kirkland Drive. A tyre deflation device was deployed near the intersection of Kirkland Drive and Wishart Road.

The stolen vehicle continued onto Tiger Brennan Drive before coming to a stop on Tivendale Road.

Police arrested a 20 year-old male at the scene, where he was conveyed to Royal Darwin Hospital with minor injuries.

Investigations into these incidents are ongoing.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Bland said, “Three unknown persons were seen fleeing the vehicle after it came to a stop on Tivendale Road.
