Northern Territory Police have charged a 39-year-old man in relation to an incident in Palmerston on Tuesday 5 January 2021.

Between the hours of 9pm and 10pm, a 36-year-old woman was allegedly assaulted in Gray. She then walked towards Moulden via Temple Terrace and Bonson Terrace.

The man has allegedly followed the woman before police have attended and arrested him.

The man appeared in court on Wednesday 6 January and has been remanded in custody until 3 March 2021 on charges including aggravated assault and engage in conduct that contravenes a domestic violence order.
