Arrest - Property offences - Alice Springs

A youth who is alleged to have unlawfully entered a business in the Alice Springs CBD last week, has been arrested and charged.

Around 3:40am on Thursday 18 November, unknown offenders forced entry into a Hartley Street business where it is alleged they stole food and various items before leaving the scene.

Police investigations of the unlawful entry lead to the identification of a 13-year-old male who was located and arrested at a home in Gap Road later that morning.

The youth will appear before court charged with the following;

•          Unlawful entry

•          Stealing

•          Damage to Property

•          Serious Breach of Bail
