The Domestic Violence and Sex Crime Division arrested a 45-year-old male in Darwin City yesterday afternoon.

He has been charged with serious violence offences and is remanded in custody to appear before Darwin Local Court today.

Senior Sergeant Paul Lawson said, “Violence committed in our community will not be tolerated. Anyone aware of or experiencing domestic and family violence is encouraged to reach out for help. You can contact police at any time on 131 444 or in an emergency call 000.”
