Northern Territory Police are urging all ‘racegoers’ to enjoy the weekend sensibly.

Commander Matthew Hollamby said police will be actively conducting patrols this weekend ensuring the community stays safe while the V8 Supercars are in town. 

“Racegoers can expect to see foot and mounted patrols at the event. Police will also be conducting RBTs over the weekend.  

“We ask that all attendees are mindful of the COVID-19 advice and follow the organiser’s COVID-19 safety plan. Please respect physical distancing and hygiene guidelines. If you are feeling unwell on the day, stay home.”
