Queensland Police have renewed their appeal for public assistance to help locate a 65-year-old man reported missing from Townsville.

Edward Fox (pictured) was last seen on January 11 entering a taxi at a medical facility on Angus Smith Drive, Douglas.

Investigations indicate that on January 18, Edward caught a bus from Tennant Creek to Alice Springs.

Police hold concerns for his safety as he suffers from a medical condition.

Edward is described as Caucasian, 167cm tall, slim build and brown eyes.

He was last see wearing green cargo pants, grey singlet, blue flannelette shirt and a grey baseball cap.

Any members of the public who have seen Edward or have information in relation to his whereabouts are asked to contact Queensland police.
