Northern Territory Police and Fire and Rescue are working to establish the cause of a structure fire in Woodroofe that occurred early this morning.

At around 4:00am, emergency services responded to a report of a structure fire on Antares Court, Woodroffe.

Upon arrival, the residence was fully alight. NTFRS crews extinguished the fire and police blocked off surrounding areas. The residence sustained significant damage.

This is a timely reminder to ensure smoke alarms are properly installed and maintained. Test your smoke alarm at least once a month and replace all smoke alarms in your home every 10 years.
