Detectives from Major and Serious Crime Squad are investigating the death of a 20-year-old male who passed away on Saturday 25 April 2020 at Royal Darwin Hospital. 

The death is a result of a serious assault that occurred in Nakara on Thursday 2 April 2020. An 18-year-old male is currently in custody on a charge of unlawfully causing serious harm.

The investigation is continuing.
