Serious Crime Squad and Strike Force Trident detectives have arrested two males in relation to an alleged robbery which occurred at BWS Leanyer on Wednesday, 15 January 2020.

A 20-year-old male was located by police in Malak this morning. He allegedly resisted police prior to being taken into custody. A 24-year-old male was also arrested this morning at a residence in Alawa.

Both men are expected to be charged with aggravated robbery later today. The 20-year-old male is also expected to be charged with resist police.

Detective Senior Sergeant Jak Evans said, “We would like to thank the public for their assistance. It was with their help that we were able to identify and apprehend the two offenders in this matter.”

The two males will appear in Darwin Local Court at a later date.
