Detectives from Serious Crime have charged a 36-year-old man with murder following an incident in Jingili yesterday in which a 20-year-old woman died.

The man has been charged with:

• Murder
• Engage in conduct that contravenes DVO
• Going armed in public               
• Aggravated assault.                   

He was remanded in custody to appear in Darwin Local Court today.
