A female will face court following an alleged assault that left an elderly lady with injuries.

Shortly before 2.00pm on Sunday, 12 January 2020, a 77-year-old female suffered facial injuries after allegedly being threatened with a knife and then punched outside a Palmerston shopping venue.

Officers from Palmerston Police Station responded.  Detectives from Strike Force Trident will summons an 11-year-old female from Moulden to appear at the Darwin Youth Court in February charged with one count of, aggravated assault with intent to steal.
