Northern Territory Police have charged a 70-year-old man with manslaughter following the death of a 73-year-old man in Katherine overnight.

The victim was hospitalised after allegedly being assaulted on Monday 13 July 2020.

Detectives from Northern Investigation Section are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
