Northern Territory Police are calling for information in relation to an alleged robbery that occurred in Nightcliff this afternoon.

About 4:00pm, police received reports of an armed male who allegedly entered a commercial premise and demanded a staff member hand over money.

The male allegedly threatened the staff member with a knife before fleeing the location with an unknown amount of money.

The male is described as being of Aboriginal appearance with a bald head, wearing a black shirt and long grey pants.
