Detectives from Strike Force Trident have arrested a 14-year-old male in relation to an alleged aggravated robbery that occurred on Saturday 11 April 2020.

At about 11:00pm, the youth entered a Wanguri service station and allegedly attempted to steal items. Upon exiting the store the youth was confronted by the attendant who he then allegedly assaulted.

On Monday 13 April 2020, detectives arrested the youth in Anula. He has been charged with aggravated robbery.

The youth was remanded in custody to appear in Darwin Youth Justice Court on Tuesday 14 April 2020.
